This little one loves to feed the ducks. They are the only animals, along with some barn cats, that we have left around here. If you’ve followed us over the years, you know we had some other animals, so to only have ducks and some cats around is sort of different. It is fine by my for the time being and Erin doesn’t mind either. She just loves to walk out to the barn and help me raise up the garage door, with a little grunt, and then she gets all excited when I open the feed can to scoop out the feed. Then, she handles the scooper with her two little hands and heads out to the area where we feed the ducks and they all come waddling up. She’s pretty brave for an almost two-year old!
After we fed the ducks, we checked out the pond to see if there was any action over there and then off to the tire swing. She has now moved up to the big swing and requests it over her little baby swing. She’s growing up and moving on!
