Nice little smock

After making the tutu and working on some other projects, I was motivated to make this cute little smock.  It’s Erin first aprony item that I’ve made her. 

She doesn’t want anything to do with it though.  I think it reminds her too much of bibs, which she forbids wearing these days. 

So it hangs in it’s cute little hanger waiting for the day when Erin will beg to wear it. 

It is made out linen and I think the patterned fabric is linen as well, or just really nice cotton. 

Anyway, they both came from my crafty friend in town, Eva.  She bought the print in NYC at this lovely store and if you remember, I made a bag out of one of the other prints she gave me. 

I have another one that I have plans for that came from the same store.  It has little ants on it and it begs to be a lunch bag or a placemat or a pocket for an apron.  We’ll just have to wait and see!
