Unwanted Visitor

We found this rat snake trying to make this duck egg his dinner. It’s mouh was desperately trying to stretch over the egg while we watched in awe. But, out of respect for the two ducks that are taking care of these eggs, we removed the snake and relocated it far from the nest. So, if these ducklings make it until hatching day, we will need homes for them. If anyone is interested, say, my sister who has a pond, they will be available.
That is an amazing picture! I can’t believe that you actually got the picture with his mouth almost around the egg.
