Six One Way :: Week 10

Week 10

After reading a book about a boy that visits his home island and goes to the beach, Ian had the idea to get out our beach gear and pretend we were at the beach.  So he ran out and grabbed the chairs and set out a beach towel.  I dusted off the beach toys and the umbrella and set that up.  We spent a good part of the morning playing in the sand and enjoying the beach in our backyard.  I love the shot of Ian and Erin filling up the bucket with sand.  He’s such a good big brother to her.

Our Easter was very nice this year, with great weather.  The kids jumped into the pool over at Oma and Opa’s house after lunch and the big egg hunt.  Ian was a mad man, running around with a full basket of eggs looking for more.  He scored pretty big!

Other than spending lots of time outside, things are pretty slow around here.  No big plans for a garden this year.  I did plant a few flowers in containers to brighten things up and that’s all I think I am able to handle for now.  The fair is coming up next weekend, so I’m sure we’ll be headed out there for some corn dogs and cotton candy and a few rides.

Have a great week!
