tree time
| December 12, 2007 | Posted by nancy under FAMILY |

Over the weekend we bought a tree and according to Ian we finally were able to break out the ornaments. I noticed that this year was the first year, we were all putting them on the tree. Ian looked so grown-up placing each ornament with care on the the branches – except for the one he dropped. Thank goodness for super glue, it’s a saver!

The tree still needs some ribbon garland and lots of handmade paper snowflakes and other goodies I have in mind. Here we are after the babes were put to bed. Ahh, relaxing after all that hard work with some of this.

I’m very excited about some of the crafty projects going on right now. I have some projects completed and some more in the works. It’s like Santa’s Workshop around here, whistling and all! I so want to take pictures and post them all over the place, but one must not reveal until the 25th. Oh it’s so hard, I hate keeping secrets.
More pictures that were on my camera that I thought would be of interest to some of you.

dear nancy, what a blessing it is to see you and your beautiful family. it is so hard for me sometimes to picture all of you past volleyball girls with the lovely children. it is so warm to the heart to see you so talented, cooking, crafting, and just enjoying your families. merry christmas and the hopes of an even happier new year.

Yeah, for trees! I will have to send the girls over so they can sit around and stare at it. We aren’t doing a tree this year. (3 kittens + 1 two-year old= 1 very messed up tree and 1 mom pushed over the edge) They think I am being Scrooge.
Oh the wonder fo Christmas and all of its promises through our Lord…He makes this all possible!
thank you for sharing with us.
