warm up
| November 27, 2007 | Posted by nancy under FAMILY, OUTSIDE |
I had grand ideas of spending the long weekend in my sewing room and working on some crafty projects, but the warm outdoors called us all out to enjoy some time together as a family.
After way too much turkey and pie, 3 different kinds I might add, we ventured out to one of my sister’s new house projects, both have been involved in house construction projects lately.
We enjoyed a picnic by the pond and then we headed off to Spring Park in the nearby town of Green Cove Springs. It is a really nice park right on the river with great Live Oaks, a stream that flows into the river, perfect for Pooh sticks, and a reallycool pool that is fed by a natural spring.
We are thankful for our family and friends close by and far away and we want to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers for us while we have been adjusting to the new business venture. Jay is very busy and the business just keeps coming in and he plans to take on a partner in the New Year. One last thing, as the next holiday quickly approaches, here is a resource for focusing on Christ during this Season. May you and your family be blessed.

This is the park ,at which, my J “officially” proposed to me!
