Movin’ and growin’

Watch out people! This little one is on the move. She is just as determined as her brothers and enjoys getting outside and exploring.

See those teeth? That’s the reason for all that drool on her neck and clothes. Speaking of clothes. I used this great fabric that I was given for my birthday by a lovely friend and have not known what to make with it, until now. Erin was crawling on the driveway and made a hole in her pants, which needed to be patched of course. So I patched the pants with circles of the polka dot fabric and made a reversible dress out of the coordinating fabric. The pattern came from my Mom’s stash which is from the 70′s and so easy, it only took an 1-1/2 hours to complete.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with my family last Sunday and are gearing up for more Turkey on Thursday. Compared to our first meal, this one will be low key. I’m making green beans, buying rolls and baking a pie. Ian has requested chocolate.
Thank you all for your kind words about Annie. I have wanted to work with Ian on some sort of paper collage and haven’t gotten him motivated to work with me, so I had to just do it myself. It was such fun to sit and work with paper an use the inspiration that I’ve been exposed to through children’s books and blogs that I frequent. Anyway, Ian and I have some ideas, regarding the future of Annie, brewing in our minds. I’m hoping to work on some of them soon!
Have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy your time with family!

Erin is just so cute! You just want to hug and kiss them all the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just now saw “Annie’ and love the idea! Now you need to write a book! You can do it!

I love that color combination. I really should have bought several more yards of the stuff!!! Erin is huge. When does all this growing happen?
