to Annie’s acorn house in the woods.

Lately, I’ve been inspired by work from here, here, and here and some acorn inspiration from here. During quiet time, I settled down with some paper, watercolors, an exacto knife and some glue and I came up with Annie. The background is a watercolor wash and the rest is paper collage with accents of black felt tip pen. I really like how the acorn house turned out. I made the roof by taking some cream colored card stock and covering it with brown watercolor and then dabbing my finger all around the create the texture.
We’ll see if Annie is up for some more appearances.
