TOO March/April

I had plans to make a really cute apron for this month’s Rick-Rack Theme over at TOO, with 4 different colors of rick-rack, we are talking lots of rick-rack. Anyway, I just haven’t been able to carve out the time for that project, but I did make this cute little smock for my baby girl from a pattern I found here, and it has rick-rack on it, so I guess it qualifies! It’s a little big, but at the rate she is growing, I’m sure it will fit by this summer or next summer over some shorts with some boots while she runs after her two big brothers.
It is lined with a green and purple striped fabric, which I used for the bloomers and the little pocket that has the green rick rack accent at the top. The outer fabric was given to me by a quilter who was thinning out her stash of fabric and I love how girly it is. I’m really getting into having a girl and I’m so excited about all the cute dresses, bloomers, and aprons I get to make for her!

Oh cute! She is a perfect little model!
Precious! I get so excited thinking of what you can make too!!
She really is growing into a gorgeous, happy little girl. YAY
