Hats off!

We are off to a 1st Birthday Party for our friend’s little girl on Saturday and I thought this little dress and hat would be perfect for her! I found the hat pattern online here and of course the dress is just like this one that I posted about recently. I am totally into these hats; very easy and fun to make!
I wanted to make a bucket hat with a wide brim, so I was back on the internet to find some help. I found some here and here, but I was driving myself crazy with the math, so I just guessed at it until I got the dimensions right. I like it, but I am going to combine both patterns and make another one with a beanie top and a wide flat brim next!
Wow! Those are SO adorable! I really like the different hat styles, and ladybugs and polka dots are a treat for the eyes!
I am extremely partial to hats. I just wish it was easier to them on the little guys heads!
I left out a very important word . .”keep”! Perfect example why one should not post in presence of children.
