little pirates and weird things

Ahoy there, maties! Dressing up like a pirate, a knight, a Rider of Rohan (from Lord of the Rings), policeman or combination of them all is a daily occurance around here. One of the first things they pull out is the bin of dress up clothes and the battles begin. Aunt Leslee recently added to our growing collection with a nifty beard and vest, which Ian is modeling. Sean is the fearsome sidekick with the bow and arrow and the stain on his shirt, probably from his drink. I think this particular day he wore this outfit all day, which were his pajamas from the night before.
Weird things have been going around the crafty blog scene lately. I have not been officially tagged, but I thought I would join in on the fun and share some things about myself:
- I must have all doors and toilet seats closed and down at all times. I’ll walk by the guest bathroom door and close it everytime I go by it. (I think I have already passed this on to my boys, because they are obcessed about closing the doors as I am.)
- I have a large bump on the roof of my mouth; it’s hereditary my sister has one too.
- My mantle is still decorated for Christmas. Maybe I’ll leave it like that until December!
- I like asparagus, but I don’t like broccoli. (Not sure that is a weird thing, but I’m running out of ideas)
- Once I start a project I can’t start something else until I’ve completed the first one.
- There are three “chicken tractors” in my backyard.
There you go 6 things, weird or not, there they are. Anyone else have a few weird things they want to share?
