So much to say…

so little time to say it!

I had intended on posting by Friday last week, but life got in the way.  How dare it!  No really, my body sort of shut down on Friday night and made me stay in bed and rest all of Saturday.  By Saturday night, I was much better and was able to eat pie!  Not sure what happened really, but I guess I needed the rest.  “Remember Nancy you just had a baby 4 weeks ago today!!” said my body.

Anyway, I have lots to share and I figured out this cool thing my blog will do.  *Which, I’m sure I’m the last to know about.*  I can write many posts at once and timestamp them to be published at different times.  *Why didn’t I know about that sooner?*  So if all goes well, there will be more to read about around here.

I had to break the cycle of diapers, feedings, laundry, dishes and making meals.  So, Huckleberry got a new doggy bed.  It was a really easy project to jump back into.  It is pretty much a pillow cover with a velco closure and I made a inner cover and filled it with poly-fill, 120 oz. of it!  Then, it wasn’t complete until I personalized with his name; gotta use that embroidery unit I had to have!  It felt so good to made something that will last longer than 5 minutes.  It’s good for the soul!  Isn’t Huckleberry handsome?  The poor thing has been so neglected since having children, but hopefully this new bed makes up for some of the neglect.
