Corner of my Home

I’m loving my living room these days since we rearranged it and put the dining table in half of the living room and moved one couch into the dining room. Before the living room seemed so huge and uncozy. We were used to living in a much smaller house, like 900 sq. ft. and I never wanted to sit in that room. We added two more area rugs and recently I’ve decorated for fall, so it’s feeling much cozier. There is just one couch facing the fireplace, a cozy plush rug, a wing chair and ottoman and a side chair, which is all just enough to accomodate a few guests. The dining table is right behind the couch, you can see part of a chair in the picture. I’ll get an overall shot of the room for next week.
My pointy kitty now has a new home on the mantle with some light reading material and a few immitation pumpkins. I love the real thing, but I just didn’t want to deal with the rot this year.

I approve the new look. Our house will also have one long room with our couch facing the front windows and the dining room table behind, with the kitchen after that. I’ll get Steve to do pix, I promise. Love your pumpkins and kitty.

LOVE the Halloween themed pointy kitty. Ooo – I’m now tempted to make one of those! Mine is more Valentine’s Day…
