A beautiful sight

As we were heading out to collect the day’s eggs; we noticed this beautiful rainbow in the sky. It was windy, cloudy and rain was looming, but somehow the rainbow managed to cover the entire sky. It went from horizon to horizon – the largest rainbow I’ve ever seen!
I had a morning all to myself in my craft room/studio, because my mother-in-law has been taking the boys to bible study with her on Wednesdays. It was so nice, I had uninterrupted sewing time. I worked on baby girl’s room; a pillow for the glider and the crib skirt, which I have been dreding. I’m glad I started the bumper – it’s almost done.
Once all the baby girl stuff is sewn, I’m going to concentrate of Christmas gifts and maybe some stock items for our new website. Jay setup a shopping cart through Google, so you can buy items directly from our website with a credit card. So now all we have to do is design the site and of course I have to get busy sewing some stuff! Any advice on what I should make? Handbags, diaper bags, bibs, burp cloths, blankets? Sick of those things, anything else?

What about play smocks? Kind of like pinafores, but more like Christopher Robin’s little smock. (from the original a.a. milne works) What an amazing rainbow! I am enjoying the blog very much!
Love the photos!! And the living area does look quite cozy. I hope to come try out the new arrangement sooner than later
For your new sewing adventures – how about custom T-shirt embroidery? Maybe some clever toy totes? (The kind that hang over a door or even the back of a seat in the car). Hmmm…if you cross over into the needle crafts, there are tons of things there – needle cases, project bags…
Have a fantastic week! We’re taking the girls on their first plane ride to the NE this week. Very exciting! xoxox
