Bags and baby stuff

Garden Update

Our fall garden is slowly growing and we are slowly adding new seeds and plants. The cucumbers and pole beans have a nice start and some are starting to climb the newly built trellis. We lost a few pumpkin plants, one to the dog and one to the chicken tractor when my dear chicken farmer… more

Fresh and Local

This morning we had a first around here. Fresh pork sausage, scrambled eggs from our chickens out back and homemade baking powder biscuits. Now if I ground the wheat myself, then the biscuits would be really fresh, but that’s not happening anytime soon (if ever). It was a delicious meal and we were so excited to try the… more
