Gearing up for Fall

We don’t get those pretty red and yellow leaves around here so I have to buy them.  I brought my fall decorations out yesterday and purchased a few more things to add to the collection.  I made the table runner last year based on an idea out of The Better Homes and Gardens magazine.  It’s just a piece of orange felt and chocolate brown felt on top, with holes cut out.  The house smells like brown sugar according to Ian, thanks to the new yummy candles from Kohls.  The striped one is my favorite! 

To get ourselves in the fall mood, the boys and I baked sugar cookies.  I have these great leaf and acorn cut outs and they just sprinkle them with a little lot of sugar and there you go.  Instant fall fun!
