August/September TOO – Pinafore

My tie one on submission this time was inspired by this apron. It is by no means comparable, but I did not have a pattern and I am not a hand embroidery-type. I did make my own bias tape and added tulip appliques out of matching fabric. My model is my sister-in-law Grace, since I am pregnant and couldn’t fit into this apron. It’s supposed to be a pinafore, a full apron, with a bib or bodice, and has straps, or fabric that go over the shoulders in the back, (and usually cross but don’t have too) and then it ties.
Nance, cute apron. It is good to see Grace, even her back. Ian obviously got some of Uncle James’ artistic genes!
