Garden Update again…

Everything is growing nicely in the 90 degree weather we still have here in Florida.  After a week, the bush beans and squash seedlings emerged and are on their way to full fledged plants.  The cucumbers and pole beans are on their way up the trellis with a little guiding hand.  The tomato plants are not doing so well, most are dying.  I haven’t watered them, but we have had plenty of rain.  Maybe they just don’t like our soil.  Planting from seed is soo much better and I’m going to plant some seeds in cups and see if I can get any plants out of them. 

Jay comes home today.  After two weeks away in a row, the boys are really missing him and me too!  The boys and I did well without Daddy, even with Sean’s two-year old moments.  We are in need of some family time together, maybe the beach or just hanging around the house having fun.  Enjoy the weekend!

Update: I was doing well with the boys, but I got very tired just before Jay got home and my patience level was at zero.  Jay came home to save the day and I got a nice nap.  I’m just enjoying the fact that I have reinforcements.  Who would have thought children would be so hard to take care of?
